Q Does choosing to delete all previous versions when installing
QuickTime for Windows 2.0.1 eliminate all parts of earlier versions?
A When you run the QuickTime for Windows 2.0.1/2.0.2 installer,
it asks for permission to remove any other QuickTime for Windows installations that are
currently on your hard disk. If you tell it to go ahead, it does remove all such DLL and
component files and install the new ones from the installation disks (even if the existing
ones have the same version number). The installer won't touch QTW versions, however, plated
on read-only volumes, such as CD-ROMs.
